Children’s care at home provides practical and personal support for children and young people who need additional help because of disability, health needs or other circumstances. The service should be family-centred, age-appropriate and responsive to the child’s communication and development.

Safeguarding responsibilities apply at every stage, and any clinical task must only be provided where it is within Rakay’s regulated scope and staff are appropriately trained and authorised.
